Getama embraces Danish design culture and the designers who helped shape it. That's why they keep all their production in Gedsted, Denmark, where Getama's historical DNA shines brightest. Getama furniture is an investment for life and is designed to be passed down for generations. That's why Getama, in collaboration with Byflou, offers reupholstery of your old Wegner and Ditzel furniture, so it can last for decades.
Reupholstery is offered on all Wegner and Ditzel furniture in our current collection as well as older models. Therefore, you can also revive your old heirlooms with us, with new cushions and brand new upholstery. All reupholstery done through Byflou is done in original Getama textile and will be marked with a leather label, certifying the authenticity of your new Getama cushions.
Getama offers a wide range of textile types and colours in which the reupholstery can be done. At the same time, it is also possible to have your old Wegner or Ditzel furniture reupholstered in your very own textile, which Getama approves for production.
For selected models it is possible to buy separate covers for your original cushions or separate cushions for your original upholstery. Most upholsteries include brand new cushions and new upholstery as a complete set. In addition, refurbishment and reupholstery of individual elements of your furniture is also available, allowing you to gradually refurbish your old furniture as required.
