Air Pendant

Air by Frandsen are fine, imperfect pendant lamps designed by Toni Rie. The lamps' design is inspired by blown bubbles, which by their very nature tend to stick to each other. The pendant lamps have their own charming, organic shape that appears to hang askew - but the lamp is made with such skill and care that it hangs perfectly straight. The abstract expression of the lamp is a tribute to both the harmony and incongruity of great craftsmanship.

TheAir lamp's shade is composed of two blown glass bubbles seemingly stacked randomly on top of each other. The light that the lamp emits into the room comes from the opal white glass combined with the asymmetrical lines that give a soft, rounded light. The lamp has a light output that spans 360 degrees, which can make the room appear larger. Use the Air pendants in different sizes and hang them as a decorative cluster or just use the lamp alone.
