The About a Chair Collection is one of HAY's most distinctive series, encompassing a range of chairs that each have their own unique design and purpose. From dining chairs with ultra minimalist tendencies to lounge chairs with soft and colorful shapes. Danish designer Hee Welling, with her own love for art and design, has created a collection that captures the essence of HAY's unique design spirit, while being functional and aesthetic. The curved design language seen in the chair's seat is repeated and complimented with a wealth of beautiful textiles, modern materials and functional details.

About a Chair 19 has the classic seat that characterizes the series and is in this model complimented with armrests that extend four symmetrical legs in a slim and elegant design. A simple design language that fits into any interior with a wide variety of modern colors and frames in three classic variations; chrome-plated steel or white and black powder-coated steel.

• Material: Base in lacquered or chrome-plated steel with polypropylene seat in 100% recycled plastic, fully upholstered in your choice of fabric. Supplied with standard slip-on shoes.
• Specifications: Please note that minor variations in color and texture may occur as parts of the product are made from recycled materials.
• Delivery: Please note that several of the variants are made-to-order and may therefore have a longer delivery time. If you make a custom-made order, please note the change in return policy.
• Care instructions: Wipe the chair regularly with a damp cloth and neutral soap. When cleaning textiles, it is recommended to contact a dry cleaner.
