J42 was designed by Børge Mogensen, and HAY has created a reproduction that clearly reflects his design philosophy and his sense of timeless design. The chair's backrest is curved, created from an array of slats, and has a wide armrest that gives the chair a more relaxed look.
Materials Made of oiled, dark oiled, clear lacquered or stain FCS-Certified oak or beech.
Specifications The chair is sold without a slipcover and seat cushion. Both parts can be purchased separately.
Care instructions For daily cleaning, the chair can be wiped with a slightly damp cloth. Variants without colour lacquer can be treated with a matching wood treatment 2-4 times a year, to maintain the chair's finish.
