The 'Lynderup' chair shows an alternative side of Børge Mogensen's design universe, which is strongly characterised by wood as the main material. In this classic design, the wood element is combined with tendentious metal, highlighting a new creativity in the otherwise traditional designer. The chair nevertheless manages to achieve a timeless status, through the quality of the materials which are crafted to optimal proportions, ensuring a truly unique seating experience. In model 3081, the chair is complimented with an upholstered seat that adds an extra dimension of texture to the chairs while optimizing seating comfort. 'Lynderup' is a universal chair, whose simple design makes it suitable for both general housing and larger gatherings, with the possibility of combining the chairs in work and educational environments.
'Lynderup Chair 3081' is available in a wide range of fabrics and colours. If you would like to design your own 'Lynderup' chair, please feel free to contact us by email or phone.
- Frame made of black lacquered or chrome treated steel with backrest in lacquered oak, ash or walnut and seat with CMHR and HR foam, upholstered in desired textile or leather. Supplied with standard quick-click plastic slippers, with option of felt slippers on request.
- When cleaning oiled wood, a mild solution of soap flakes or a cleaner for oil-treated wood surfaces is recommended. New oil must then be added to prevent the wood from drying out.
- For cleaning varnished wood, a mild solution of soap flakes or all-purpose cleaner is recommended. Then polish with a dry soft cloth. Never leave liquids on lacquered wood surfaces as this may cause the lacquer to delaminate.
- Original design by Børge Mogensen, produced by Fredericia Furniture (1954)
