The Tangent table lamp is designed by Frederik Kurzweg. The idea came from an experimental study with tubes. Here, the design came together when looking at the proportions of the tubes and they can be joined together. The name comes from how the two steel tubes the lamp consists of meet at their tangential point of contact. The small tube is used for the electrics while the large tube functions as a lamp shade. On top of the inner metal tube, a shade made of opal glass covers the bulb. This results in a soft light and it has a nice visual effect.
