Pind Chair

The Stick Chair is made from solid ash wood with an ash veneer seat. It is available in three variants, a chair, an armchair and a bar stool with two height settings to choose from. The chair is delivered assembled.

Pind, the Danish word for wooden stick, is named after the defining wooden dowels in the design and encapsulates the spirit of the iconic Shaker chairs of 19th century America. Exuding timeless elegance, this furniture style is known for its sleek and refined dowels that delicately adorn the chair's backrest. With a clean and modern look, Pind pays homage to the timeless artistry of traditional craftsmanship and brings the classic wooden chair into the present.

Designer Simon Legald explains: "The Pind chair collection is a study in merging a classic chair with a contemporary design that meets the demands of the modern consumer." Pind's design is made entirely from solid wood dowels, with the exception of the seat. The collection includes dining chairs with or without armrests and bar stools in two heights. The backrest of the Pind has a carefully crafted elliptical curve for optimal comfort and improved back support. The armrests are elegantly supported by three subtly angled wooden dowels and harmonize with the backrest, further enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the chairs.
