KK7 is a series of armchairs and sofas. It is available in 3 sizes, a 1-seater, a 2-seater and a 3-seater.

They are designed so that you sit comfortably in a healthy and comfortable position, with backrests that give you a straight back. Settle in and feel the calm settle over your body. The unique design of the legs makes it easy to move around.

The armchair is available in several colours and leather/fabric types, something for everyone. Combine the armchair with the sofas from the same collection for a clean and simple look. Or pair the armchair with a completely different sofa to give the room some contrast. The armchair was originally produced by Mogens Hansen in a limited edition in 1978 and has now been relaunched by Kai Kristiansen & Friends.

Born in 1929, designer Kai Kristiansen was apprenticed as a cabinetmaker before enrolling at the prestigious Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen in 1948 under influential designer Kaare Klint.

At the age of 26, he opened his own studio where he designed his own furniture, which soon became known as the Danish modern style. His designs were produced by well-known Danish manufacturers such as Feldballes Møbelfabrik, Fritz Hansen, Vildbjerg Møbelfabrik, Magnus Olesen etc.

Kai Kristiansen furniture is today a Danish tradition where quality, sustainability, craftsmanship and attention to detail really come through in the beautiful timeless designs.
