The smart and attractive tool from EKTA Handvaerk is used to start and maintain fires in wood-burning stoves, open fireplaces and outdoor barbecues. The idea of the product is to revive a fire by blowing into the embers through a tube. It dates back to the American Indians, who had fire guards who stayed in camp while others hunted or gathered food.
Use the Firekeeper as a fire blower or as a fire poker. You get to blow air through the pipe directly into the embers. When not in use, it can be displayed on its magnetic holder, which attaches to the wall next to the fireplace.
