The shaker basket from Normann Copenhagen is a new interpretation of the American shaker style, which is known for having simplicity, usability and quality as its basic principles. These principles form the basis of Shaker Basket's design, which in both its shape and materials expresses quality and minimalism. The source of inspiration for the shaker basket is the traditional ash baskets made to store the wood chips that came from Shaker's workshops and were used in the wood stoves. The traditional curve shapes and design principles fit perfectly with the modern materials and techniques used to make the Shaker basket. All this results in an exquisite and contemporary design with historical references. The clean lines of the shaker basket create an aesthetic expression. Its rectangular, rounded shape gives a pleasant graphic look which makes the basket a completely unique storage basket.
