The 'Pato' collection was first introduced at Fredericia Furniture in 2013 and has since expanded into a comprehensive foundation for the Fredericia design universe. The majority of Fredericia Furniture's range consists of design classics, crafted in traditional materials such as wood and leather, but 'Pato' offers an alternative that, without compromising on quality, embraces new technologies and materials that focus on the climate. The furniture is made of recyclable polypropylene plastic as standard, as well as surplus plastic that is completely free of additives. In this way, Fredericia makes its presence felt in the responsible market without losing its spirit and tradition of beautiful craftsmanship.
The collection offers all the essentials for the dining room and office, but is even universal and minimalist in its design, making the furniture easy to integrate into the décor. The design duo Welling/Ludvik is known for creating understated furniture that does not overpower the space, but shows respect for the space its other furniture. 'Pato' is a clear example of this design philosophy, with a classic design that is perfected in its proportions that suit the function of the furniture.
Although the modern polypropylene seat is available in many beautiful colours, it is also possible to have the seat upholstered in luxurious fabrics and leathers that still meet first class environmental standards. The ability to combine materials and colours makes the 'Pato' range flexible and easy to design to suit your home.
