This pastel plate from Jou Quilts is a beautiful example of Romanian craftsmanship, designed with attention to detail and aesthetics. Each plate goes through a meticulous process where it is modeled, glazed and decorated with delicate pastel colors. After an initial firing at 850-900 degrees, a water-based glaze is applied and then the plate is dried and fired again at 1000-1100 degrees. The unique lines and play of colors created during this process give each plate a rustic, unique and characterful look.
This versatile plate is perfect for both serving food and as a decorative element on the wall. It adds a touch of color and elegance to any table setting. Combine it with other ceramic pieces in matching or contrasting colors for a cohesive and inviting table setting. To preserve the beauty and durability of the plate, hand washing is recommended.

• Material: Water-based Romanesque glaze. Clay.
• Specifications: The meeting of clay and the many layers of color can create small lines and play. These are not to be considered flaws. But give a rustic look and are commonly encountered in Romanian ceramics. The ceramics can be used for food or as wall decoration as all bowls and plates have a small hole on the back for easy hanging. The ceramics can be used for food. We recommend washing it by hand.
