The legendary dining chair, the U-Chair GE525, is back! Designed by Hans J. Wegner in 1970, it has been out of production for a number of years, but has now been relaunched by Danish company Getama. This iconic chair, created in collaboration between Wegner and Getama, offers both aesthetic beauty and functionality. Choose from beech, walnut or oak frames, different finishes, upholstery and a wide range of colors and materials.
The U-Chair GE525 is a coveted dining chair that adds timeless elegance to any home. The chair is part of a series that includes the matching GE-526 dining table, also known as the U-Table. Wegner's design masterpieces such as the Y Chair, Circle Chair and CH22 are well known, but the U Chair is a hidden gem that deserves attention.
Colors have always been an important part of Wegner's furniture art, and the U-Chair GE525 is no exception. In collaboration with Flügger, the chair has been relaunched in Wegner's original colors, carefully recreated to maintain authenticity. Experience Wegner's vision and add a touch of inspiring design to your home. Choose your preferred combination of wood species, treatment, upholstery and color and let the U-Chair be the heart of your dining area.
The GE525 Chair is available in a large selection of fabrics from Getama's range. If you want to design your own GE525 chair, feel free to contact us by email or phone.
