D104 - Åstrup Coffee Table

The D104 Åstrup coffee table is designed by Isabel Ahm. Isabel Ahm has found the inspiration for the design of this coffee table in the human body. The table legs act as shoulders that carry the table top. The coffee table is made of walnut or oak. The wood used for the table comes from European forests and is FSC-certified. There may be shade differences in the wood as it is a natural material.

Isabel Ahm graduated as a furniture designer from the Academy of Fine Arts in 2007 and has had her own design studio since 2009. As a designer, she has found it important to examine the Danes' way of life. This gives her an insight into the challenges of everyday life, which she addresses in her designs. Her work has led to awards and a number of exhibitions. In addition, she has also collaborated with Boxer TV on the sofa Habits. She has also appeared in "Denmark's Next Classic" on DR1. Åstrup coffee table is Isabel Ahm's first task for FDB Møbler.
