Charlottenborg lounge chair

The Charlottenborg armchair was designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1936. The chair is handmade by Indonesian sustainable rattan. The armchair was shown for the first time at the Charlottenborg Spring Exhibition in 1937, which has given the chair its name. The shape of the armchair is extremely untraditional. The chair has an elegant, curved back that goes in one with the armrests, both of which gather beautifully at the bottom.
