RO Lamp draws inspiration from the old craftsman traditions of the 1920s and 1930s, when a simple lampshade was made of twine and yarn usually tied around a wooden stand. The RO lampshade is made of jute yarn tied around a simple base in keeping with the old traditions in Denmark. Inside the lampshade, the brass reflector allows only small light beams to travel along the jute yarn at different heights, creating a very cosy light. The lamp name RO in English refers to the tranquillity and simple human feeling of well-being.
