J52D by Børge Mogensen

The J52D bench designed by Børge Mogenses is a well-known and loved furniture in many homes and for all furniture enthusiasts. Børge Mogensen's J52 series has been a statement piece in many Danish homes since the 1950s, when it was first introduced to the Danes and since then the furniture has been sold worldwide. The bench itself is made of high quality beech wood, ensuring a long lasting furniture, and it has been painted with timeless colors.

At the age of 28, Børge Mogensen started as furniture designer at FDB Furniture, and has designed furniture that has delighted many homes worldwide and created iconic classics that all furniture enthusiasts know and love. From 1942 to 1950 he led FDB Furniture and created the foundation for what made Danish furniture design world-famous. Børge Mogensen was educated as furniture architect at both the Artcrafmen and Artacademy's furniture school and worked for designers as Kaare Klint and Mogens Kock.
