Townew's T1 Automatic Trash Can is the world's first automatic trashcan that combines the ultimate minimalistic design, with high technology at a level it has won awards such as the reddot design award (2020), CES innovation award (2020), as well as features in Elle Decor and Mashables.
With a revolutionary thermoplastic technology that withonly the touch of a button, collects the trash and makes the trashcan ready again,completely effortless. T1 seals the bag itself when the can is full, and then inserts a completely new bag by itself. Sensor technology, based on the movement of infrared vibrations, helps to give the lid a no-touch system that operates within a radius of 35 cm, and ensure a hygienic and effortless access to the trashcan.
Unlike other automatic trashcans, TowNew’s T1 is equipped with advanced self-sealing technology that ensures a 100% odor and leak-free experience, which is ideal for both residual waste, but also as a diaper bin in the bathroom. Here, the advanced sensor technology will be able to detect when the bin is overfilled, and ensure that the bag is closed before it leaks.
TowNew T1 Automatic Trash Can is combined with Refill Rings, each consisting of 25 polyethylene bags, corresponding to an average monthly consumption. Refill Rings are easily replaced, and the plastic ring itself is produced from 100% recyclable polypropylene plastic, which protects the environment.
