Simon Legald has designed the magazine holder Analog as a small revolt in a digital world. The magazine holder has a modern and understated design, which lets beautiful printed matter come into its own. Simon Legald has strangely enough taken the inspiration for Analog in the digital world. The magazine-patterned pages of the magazine holder are inspired by the computer equipment of the 90s, which had a similar perforation for cooling the technique. In addition to being a fine detail, the perforation creates transparency, which gives clarity and a nice look to the magazines you place in the holder. While the details are tech-nostalgia, the shape is classic: two separate compartments and practical handles form the basis of the design. The industrial, lacquered steel gives the holder a modern and masculine look. With Analog, Simon Legald has created an unpretentious magazine holder that possesses a laid-back coolness.
